This is the first of its kind – an easy to use eBook containing over 3000 hieroglyphic words and their English translations that you can carry to museums, etc. to interpret hieroglyph inscriptions anywhere. It has an easy to use TOC with categorized searchable contents. Included with the translations are the individual variations which many of these hieroglyphic words have. You are not limited to referencing a translation of an English word or phrase but also looking up the actual hieroglyphic word you would find on monuments, tombs, Egyptian art, papyri, etc. There is an alphabetic English to Hieroglyph section with an easily accessible A to Z menu and the more useful section - Hieroglyphic word to English translation. NOTE: There is a print book version of the Hieroglyphic Dictionary 3000 available on Amazon. It contains the Hieroglyph to English version not the English to Hieroglyphs. The Hieroglyph to English section is arranged using the Gardiner sign list categories. According to the Gardiner sign list each hieroglyph is assigned to a Category and then a number within that Category.Included with each hieroglyphic word is its Transliteration equivalent. In the exercises section there are 11 sentences for you to translate and the actual hieroglyphs found on a bracelet from Tutankhamen’s tomb that was discovered on the mummy’s right arm. The reviews on the ebook actually refer to the paperback edition for which Amazon printed the wrong contents using my copyrighted cover. The printing error on the paperback has since been corrected.See our other entries in the Learn Hieroglyph Series here on Amazon:Additional eBooks now available on Amazon:•The Pharaohs: Includes Cartouches, Serekhs, descriptions and more for over 320 Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs listed chronologically by dynasty.•The Tale of the Shipwrecked Sailor Study Guide: Detailed analysis of the oldest complete Ancient Egyptian tale on papyrus ever discovered.
